Just got a hilarious share from Rhonda Berger at Miami Dade College. This video should really resinate with those of you who have spent time in video conference calls over the past year or two. It really makes me want to have a some conversations around the idea of “Think Before You Lync: How and When to Have Video Conference Calls” Thanks for the share Rhonda!
In this latest video from Tripp and Tyler (Don’t Be That Guy Films) expect to see coffee shop connect lady, 5-minutes-late guy, dog-barking-in-home-office guy, static-reception guy, and more… It depicts everyone in every conference call you’ve ever been a part of as if they were that way in an actual face-to-face meeting.
For those of you who like Tripp and Tyler’s video, you may also want to take a look at Jason Fried’s TED talk. Jason has a somewhat radical theory of working: that the office isn’t a good place to do it. In his talk, he lays out the main problems (call them the M&Ms – Managers and Meetings) and offers three suggestions to make work work.
