A great educator is never satisfied with just teaching. A great educator keeps searching for another way to do it, always tweaking! In my quest to find the perfect e-portfolio for my students studying to be Teachers, I realized that right here at Circles of Innovation was a possible tool to host each student’s e-portfolio that might work better than Google Sites. I found this example of a teacher’s e-portfolio using WordPress and thought other educators might be inspired to digitize their resume or even use e-portfolios in their own courses. In the Teacher Education courses, we stress the need to keep artifacts from all required pre-reqs as they are resume builders and a way to ‘show’ what great teachers they may be!
See this e-portfolio example for an idea of how WordPress can be used for an e-portfolio.
