Introductory Text: I was struck by this blog on the similarities between Star Wars war, the Clone War, and WWII.  The obvious Stormtroopers of Nazi Germany and the Aryan race with its eugenics programs are staples of WWII and The Clone Wars, and, having taught Sci Fi classes for years and Star Wars in particular, it never occurred to me to relate the British sinking of the Bismarck as analogous to the x-wing fighters destroying the Death Star.
