Title: How do I get into the career I love
Class: SLS 1122 – Student Life Skills
As a professor I realize that some students have a hard time thinking or coming up with a career that they would like/love to get into. Students come with all these expectation of what they would like to achieve but they don’t know how to go about achieving their dreams. Some of these same students come with the notion that once they can make a lot of money from that career they would be very happy. Then I ask them how long do you think you will last in that career because doing something that you don’t love, can make you very unhappy. I will include videos, infographics that will show the steps that other successful people took and the hard work they put into achieving the results they got. I will also add some additional readings to give you more information so an informed decision can be made.
Videos: These videos are about gathering information and for the student to understand what it takes to be successful in doing something you love so you don’t work a day in your life.
