Have you ever wanted to share a video in your classroom or in front of an audience but didn’t because you were afraid of what advertisements might pop up? Or worse yet, have you ever been embarrassed by inappropriate pop up messages or adds while showing a video to students? Well, the people at SafeShareTV have made a tool that strips out all of the advertising and creates a unique link to showcase the content you are trying to share. All you have to do is cut and paste in the URL and SafeShareTV will create a new safe link for you. Enjoy!
Here is an example of how we used SafeShare.TV.
Given that the theme of TEDxValenciaCollegeLive this year is Truth or Dare, the Valencia TEDx Team decided to make some audience Truth or Dare Games. We did so using Random Pickers from Class Tools and some different Truth or Dare tasks. Basically students would pick Truth or Dare and then roll the random picker. After that, the audience picked a number or we used the Google die to decide which of the 6 options they would get. Then, the students had to perform the dare. If the dare used a YouTube video, we made it safe with a SafeShare.TV link. See below!
