How to Embed Academic Twitter Feeds into Online Courses

Social media. Is it the bane of our students’ attention span? Have you ever wanted to use it for good rather than for evil?

Maybe you’ve considered trying Twitter. Maybe you are constantly finding great resources that you’d like to post on the fly from your mobile device, but your students will never see because they’ll never follow their professors on social media.

Have you ever thought about embedding your Twitter feed into your online classes? Watch the quick video below to see how. I’ve said this in the video, but I would encourage you again here, if it’s something you already do, make sure your entire feed is relevant to the class. (This could require making a completely new Twitter feed).
