Classroom concerns of gay and lesbian students

The LGBTQI community can pass as an invisible minority should they chose not to disclose their identity.  This study explores how an invisible minority has implications for college teaching and seeks to understand why an LGBTQI student, faculty, or staff member may not reveal this identity.  Four themes around LGBTQI identity, campus and classroom experiences, student-faculty relationships, and general learning issues are discussed in this debrief of the study.
