Plickers

Posted by & filed under How to.

Looking for an easy way to assess students without having to worry about wifi? Then you might want to try Plickers.  Plickers is an app that runs on the teacher’s smart device. The teacher uses his or her camera to take a scan of the room. Students hold Plicker cards which identify the student and his or her answer to questions. Teachers can use Plickers to easily take attendance, conduct “First 5” activities to get students thinking during the first five minutes of class, assess learning while on walkabout, conduct exit tickets and much more.

Plickers is a powerfully simple tool that lets teachers collect real-time formative assessment data without the need for student devices
