Creativity in the Classroom

Posted by & filed under Circles.

Would you like to communicate ideas more effectively? Have you ever considered using images that you draw while you communicate? Dan Roam, author of The Back of the Napkin, shows us how to be generative with our ideas through the use of pictures. Can’t draw! Well… as long as you know how to draw these 5 simple shapes, you can illustrate your ideas, lessons or even unravel problems.

This month, Circles of Innovation centers on using creative tools and activities to stimulate and embrace problem solving in the classroom. Our session involves a hand-ons approach to teaching you about creative confidence and building creative confidence in our students. So … bring your challenges to our session. We will highlight several tips highlighted in Tom and David Kelley’s book on Creative Confidence.

We hope to see you this month. Feel free to RSVP through the Edge in Atlas or just come out and join us. If you have other questions, feel free to contact your friendly faculty fellow. James May @ East, Osceola, Lake Nona, & Winter Park and Claudine Bentham @ West.
