What is a Spark?
A spark can be any video, graphic, information graphic, logic puzzle, story, article, book etc. that stimulates thought and conversation. Sparks can be funny, sad, scary, confusing, it doesn’t much matter as long as they are engaging. We hope to build an inventory of great sparks that can be used to enhance faculty conversations around teaching and learning
What is a Strategy?
A strategy is a technique that can be used in or out of the class and online or face to face to help students learn. Anything that helps teachers add to their bag of tricks to improve student engagement and learning. Strategies usually will have a description and a handout or how to video.
What is Lesson Content?
If you have handouts or lesson content that you are willing to share with others to help reduce textbook costs, feel free to share. Do you have a favorite TED Flip? Perhaps a Khan Academy Lesson you recommend to teachers or students. We would like to hear about it.
